The Bangkaew puppies are now 10 1/2 weeks old, some are getting ready to go to new homes next week. They are still playing well with each other and other dogs and very outgoing with strangers. They are all still fed together and no fights over food. They play very well with bones too, sometimes 4 puppies chewing on the same bone, never any fights    Amanda Kyrie Siberians & Thai Bangkaew |

Do they eat Bones And Raw Food (BARF) all the time ? What do you think about BARF ? DotCom eats BARF and the left-over. He never gets sick, but a little bit bone and skin (too thin)  |

At this age they are only getting smoked bones. Gives them something to chew on and helps them work out their baby teeth. They are still on mostly Eukanuba Medium Breed Puppy kibble, they get a few fruits and vegetables for treats (carrots and apples mostly). When they get a bit older I will put them on the 70% kibble 30% raw food my adults are on. I have gone to many seminars about canine food and nutrition and the addition of 30% raw gets you the most benefit. All raw is a little better, but with 20 dogs to feed it's too much work for me The puppies are getting very big, my veterinarian even commented on how big, healthy and hairy they were when I took them in for a check up today. The first puppy will be leaving home soon and another will be going to live in Canada in February. Will be interesting to see how he does with the snow there. I will be sure and post pictures of a Bangkaew in snowy Canada. His new owner will also be taking him to a Spitz/Northern breed seminar and will get to show him off to other dog show people and judges in Canada. Hopefully with her help we can get the Bangkaew recognised by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and get to compete in shows there. Amanda Kyrie Siberians & Thai Bangkaew Dogs |
