Ok, I'm going to give my critiques of the puppies. I'm certainly not an expert on Bangkaew and I'd like opinons from people that have more experience than I do. I would like the breed to stay as true to the Bangkaew in Thailand as possible.

They all have good to very good coats, very nice dark pigment.

Puppy 1, male
Nice head, masculine. Balanced front and rear angulation. Proper lenth of back, could use a longer neck. Little straight in the pasturns, could have a bit more bone and substance. Decent feet, good coat.

Puppy 2, female
Nice angulation and proportions, too straight in pasturns. Good length of neck, muzzle too snipy and lacking stop. Too slight in build, need more bone and substance. Decent feet, good coat.

Puppy 3, female
Too much substance for a female. Head to large and blocky for a female. Nice balanced angulation, good slope to pasturns. Neck too short, too long in body and a bit short on leg. Nice feet, very good coat.

Puppy 4, male
Very masculine. Good rear angulation, bit short upper arm, too down in pasturns. Neck too short, back too long. Toes a little splayed, very good coat.

Puppy 5, male
Very pretty, but would like more substance for a male. Very nice balanced angulation and proportions. Good neck, correct pasturns, very good tight feet, good coat.

Puppy 6, male
Nice blocky head, very masculine. Balanced angulation front and rear, though I'd like a bit more angulation. Nice slope to pasturns, decent feet. Good length of back and neck, very good coat.

Puppy 7, female
Very feminine, pretty breed type. Good balanced angulation, nice back length and neck. Good feet and pasturns, good coat.

Glad to hear your own critiques both positive and negative.

Thai dog-lovers  should learn from you to accept critiques from others or even from themselves.

We usually dare not critcize other dogs negatively for fear that it will hurt their owner.  I try to create a forum that owers criticize their own dogs both positive and negative, but until now only Mr.Jitti has joined the discussion.( http://www.bangkaew.com/elearning/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=1275 )

Your critiques seem very systematic, do you have any standard for critiques ?

I think it will be useful for us to learn how to criticize , there are many words  that we have to learn like  pasturns  muzzle too snipy and lacking stop ?

May I ask you what are you going to do when you now there is some negative sides in your puppies ? how are you going to correct them ?

I have no comments, for me, they are all look very good.

I am not sure some of them are a little bit too long in their bodies.

But we prefer the Bangkaew Dogs to be square in shape and with white big  tail like the one below

It can be difficult to hear negative things about your dogs, especially if you are new to showing and breeding.  Hopefully you eventually learn to appreciate other peoples critques, good and bad.
I can tell you all the faults my Siberians have, even my 10 time Best in Show dog has his faults.  I am not as familer with the Bangkaew so it's harder for me to critque them, especially on the finer breed type points, ear set, eye shape and set, etc.
The Breed Standard is your 'blueprint' for the perfect dog.  There are no perfect dogs, but it's our job as breeders to come as close as possible.  You should critque your dog following the points of the Breed Standard.
Only by knowing what faults your dogs have can you really improve your lines.  You don't want to breed 2 dogs that share the same fault.  You want to find a dog that is strong in the trait your dog is lacking.
Some examples using my Siberians, critques are based on the points of the Siberian Husky Breed Standard :

Siberian bitch (AKC and International Champion, Best in Show and Group Winner), I marked the stop and pasturn.  She is very nicely balenced, ideal front and rear angulation, correct topline and tailset,  her back is a little long, she should be shorter in the loin.  Correct leg legth, good feet, great pasturns, hocks could be a little shorter.  Good stop and muzzle length and width (not snipy), ears set a little wide, eyes also set a little wide, head on the plain side.  Very good coat.
Kennitt
Siberian Male (AKC and International Champion)  He has a slightly too short back and while balanced could have more angulation both front and rear, very correct leg length.  Very good feet and pasturns, hocks a little long.  Nice arched neck, very pretty head with good eyes and tight set ears. Little too much coat, note very long tail hair.
Cynic
Siberian Bitch (AKC and International Champion)  Too long in loin, balanced but far too much angulation front and rear, correct hock.  Very good neck, ears set too wide apart, good muzzle length, somewhat lacking in pigment. Very good coat.
Max

I want to make sure I keep the right dogs to improve my lines from each litter.  In my Siberians I want a 'prettier' head, so I look for stud dogs that can improve my bitches in that area.  I have very good moving dogs, so I might breed to a very pretty dog that doesn't move as well.  I would then keep the prettiest dog that moved the best out of the litter.
Of course you have to take the whole dog into consideration, temperament, confomation, breed type, genetic health are all factors.

Thanks for your comments so far and for putting my coments with the pictures.

Amanda
